1. What are your thoughts on texting in social situations.
I suppose it depends on the situation. If there is an emergency, then yes, texting is fine during a social situation. But, if you're just talking to friends or at a restaraunt, I don't think you should be texting too much. I think it's sort of rude and you should pay full attention to the people you're with. Well, I'm not saying you shouldn't text at all. I think you should really just keep it to a limit. Oh yeah, but when you are in front of important people... like your boss and such, I think you should slip the phone back into your pocket.

But, if they had their eyes glued to their phone the whole time, I'd believe that they don't care about anything I have to say. SO, yes, I do find it rude... but not always. I actually text people at times while I'm talking to my friends and stuff.
3. If you had to come up with a list of etiquette rules for texting, what would they be?
1. Don't text while eating...?
2. Don't text when being told something important.
3. Don't text and walk
4. Do not, I repeat, do not txt lyke dis
